1. In class we discussed how the movie The Grapes of Wrath was also a book. The film Grapes of Wrath won an award in 1940, making it another good movie by film director John Ford.

This article basically discusses the book the Grapes of Wrath. It summarizes the struggle of migrant workers in California. With cropping season going slow, the Joad family decided to pack their things and head out. Struggling to find a living is what the book is about as it follows the Joad families stuggle for survial.
3. This article relates to the film because it discusses the book, which is based on the film. I thought this was interesting to see both sides. One to see the movie from a film point of view to then get a review based on the book. From the article I see that the book is not to different from the actual film, as it is with other film and books.
4. This was an enjoyable film because the director takes a look into the struggle. Films that get that involved in a struggle are good to me because it portrays that life is not always a beach. There are going to be times when you struggle and have to dig deep in order to get where you want to be.
